This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin during his speech at the First Session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.

The Foreign Minister stressed that the number of internally displaced persons in Ukraine amounts to nearly 2 million people.

He also noted that over the past two years of the Russian aggression in Donbas, there was created "a 40-thousand army, being financed, supported and provided with weapons by Russia, as well as run by Russian officers."

“Russia has come to the Ukrainian land with arms and soldiers, as it happened in Georgia in 2008,” said Klimkin.
