During the meeting with the Anadolu Turkish national agency, the Leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev said that Muslim countries are indifferent to the facts of human rights violations in Crimea and Russian illegal annexation of the peninsula.
He also said that the Crimean Tatars are under pressure from the first day of the annexation of Crimea by Russia, which is trying to forcibly change the demographic map of the peninsula.
"It is impossible to ensure the protection of human rights in the occupied territories," said the Leader of the Crimean Tatars.
Moreover, Mustafa Jemilev has once again urged the international community to tighten sanctions against Russia.
The Leader of the Crimean Tatar people is now attending the 32nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
