Commissioner of Ukrainian President on Crimean Tatar Affairs Mustafa Jemilev has expressed his gratitude to the Ukrainian diplomatic representatives for supporting and informing the world community about the tragic facts of genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.
“I express my gratitude to the Ukrainian diplomats for their support and informing the world community of terrible facts about the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people, committed by the communist regime in 1944, as well as systematic violations and restrictions of political and civil rights of the Crimean Tatars and the local population by Russian occupation authorities in Crimea,” Mustafa Jemilev wrote on his Facebook page.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Embassies in the UK, Germany, USA, Turkey, Finland, France and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine in a number of international organizations have held public and media events, revealing the Crimean problems.
