In the course of discussion the Culture Minister expressed interest in the adoption of the document that lays foundation for the formation of the full-fledged state ethnic policy, which unfortunately have not been adopted during all 22 years of Ukraine’s independence. In turn, Jemilev said that in case the draft laws submitted by him and the Cabinet of Ministers have coinciding visions of key issues, he, as people’s deputy of Ukraine may withdraw his draft concept for the ‘early adoption of the draft proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine’. The meeting also discussed other important issues of cultural development of Crimea.
