Ukrainian delegation in Brussels, Dec 15, raised the question of human rights violation in Crimea and the pressure on Crimean Tatars, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced.

“We have raised the issue of Crimean Tatars, as there are facts of human rights violation in Crimea”- he said after the first meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council.

Besides this, the Ukrainian delegation has raised the question of restriction of EU investments in Crimea and appealed for legal assistance to sue Russia over joining of Crimea.

Meanwhile, Brussels has agreed to impose new sanctions against Crimea, as their policy of non-recognition of Crimean annexation.

The new sanctions set to be announced on December 18 will include forbidding EU companies from investing in the region and prohibiting the trade of EU oil and gas exploration technologies.
