Just Bank, owned by Lenur Islyamov, a famous Crimean Tatar public activist and owner of the ATR TV channel, ended up being #22 on the list of judicial entities against which Ukraine imposed sanctions. -

Under the sanctions, the bank’s assets may be frozen, while the bank itself may be prevented from making payments, attracting customers’ funds and extending loans.

Lenur Islyamov, who jointly with Refat Chubarov and Mustafa Jemilev came up with the idea of Crimea’s blockade, has repeatedly stated his uncompromising position on Crimea’s occupation and relentlessly campaigned for its return to Ukraine.

QHA has been trying unsuccessfully to reach Lenur Islyamov for comments. We will be sure to keep our readers posted on how the owner of Just Bank feels about the situation.
