‘Frankly, the response has been quite mixed. A number of countries have been understanding of the blockade because Crimea is currently under occupation,” said Betsa.

As of 12 a.m. September 20, a blockade aimed at preventing food and other products from being delivered to Crimea has been in place between the Kherson region and the peninsula. The blockade’s organizers believe that Ukrainian companies must stop doing business with Crimea because it is under Russian occupation now.
