Deputy speaker of Crimean Parliament Remzi Ilyasov has met with head of Internal Policy of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Oleg Morozov to discuss issues of repatriates, QHA correspondent reports.
Special focus of the talks was paid for Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people.
I insisted on the fact that Mejlis is serviceable structure, structure that was chosen by people.
“This is self-organization of people, it shows willingness, understanding current situation. All the noises that Mejlis will halt its activity or will be closed should not be allowed. There is no other representative body [except the Mejlis,-ed.] to communicate through – Ilyasov said. They [Russian presidential administartion] said there is no question of Mejlis, still there is a question of certain people”- he added.
Ilyasov also added that Mejlis (Crimean Tatar elected representative body) and the Kurultay (National Assembly) may be implemented in Russian jurisdiction.
