Representatives of Hizb-ut-tahrir organization in Ukraine are not allowed into the building of the Crimean Academic Ukrainian Musical Theatre in Simferopol (Crimea), where international forum of the organization was to start today, QHA correspondent reports from the scene.
Law enforcement officers do not name the reason for this.
Representatives of Hizb-ut-tahrir are holding the protest in front of the theater. There are about 500-600 people there; people are holding flags of the organization.
As reported earlier, the forum entitled “Islamic call on the post-Soviet space and Hizb ut-Tahrir: Realities and Challenges” was planned by Hizb-ut-tahrir organization for October 7-8.
According to head of information office of the organization Fazil Amzaev the purpose of the forum was to highlight the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir in the world and in the former Soviet Union, to present its goals and objectives.
To recall, the organizer of the forum is the information office of Islamic political party Hizb-ut-tahrir in Ukraine with the support of Central information office of the party (Beirut, Lebanon).
In the framework of the forum, a round table entitled “Repression of Muslims on the post-Soviet space is repression for beliefs” was envisaged.
Note: Hizb ut-Tahrir is an international pan-Islamic political organization. They are commonly associated with the goal of all Muslim countries unifying as an Islamic state or caliphate ruled by Islamic law (sharia) and with a caliph head of state elected by Muslims.
