October 25, 2015. In his televised interview to Inter TV channel Volodymyr Groysman, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated, “I believe that there are several reasons of low turnout in these local elections and certain political forces bear responsibility for such situation as they paid little attention to local issues in this election campaign.” 

It was reported earlier that as of 8.00 pm on October 25, 2015, the voter turnout at local elections in Ukraine amounted to 46.5%. The polling stations in Kyiv were closed with an average turnout of 44.3%.
