MOSCOW (QHA) -

The medals that were awarded by Russia's Defense Ministry to servicemen, who contributed to the 2014 occupation of Crimea, are sold on 'Voenpro' Russian online post exchange. Moreover, a Russian soldier is trying to buy the medal he apparently was deprived of.

"I served during the return of Crimea. Unfortunately, we were cheated out of our rightful medals, although many servicemen of Sevastopol's military unit were rewarded," he posted on the Voenpro's website.

Maxim Kov from Taganrog is also seeking the opportunity to buy the "deserved" medal.

"I suppose that a medal comes with a certificate, but I have a question... The certificate is appears to be invalid if it doesn't bear the stamp and signature of a commander," he posted.
