Governors of Turkish provinces urgently called out to Ankara

In view of the increasing number of terrorist attacks the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs has called out the governors of all the provinces to Ankara.

Due to the increasing number of Kurdish terrorist attacks in Turkey, and following a failed attempted military coup on July, 15, the Internal Affairs Ministry of the Republic has called out to Ankara the governors of 81 provinces for additional consultations.

The main objective of the meeting is to work out a comprehensive solution able to tackle the security issue, as well as to take special security measures against terrorist organizations.

In spite of the additional security measures that have already been taken in the view of the declared emergency state, the number of attacks by Kurdish terrorists only increases.

Yesterday, the Turkish city of Elazig ws struck by a powerful explosion near the police department. The blast killed 3 persons, while 217 received injuries of varying severity.

In addition, the Kurdish terrorists attacked three Turkish cities in the provinces of Mardin, Diyarbakir and Sirnak.
