The restoration of courts in Donbas will be discussed during today's talks in Minsk. Thus, those militants, who have not committed serious crimes, will receive amnesty.

Irina Gerashchenko, representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup at Minsk talks, wrote on her Facebook page of necessity to restore Ukrainian courts in Donbas.

“Russian troops and military equipment must be withdrawn. We need to gain control of the border. Elections: Only under Ukrainian legislation and OSCE monitoring, after disarmament. Amnesty: Ukrainian courts must be restored in the occupied territories; there are also serious crimes that do not fall under the amnesty,” Irina Gerashchenko said.

She also stressed that the amnesty law would be addressed in Parliament after discussions in Minsk.

“Humanitarian situation: we are ready to seek a compromise for the liberation of Ukrainians, and we insist on unhindered access of humanitarian missions to the occupied territories. The ceasefire must be fully respected. Each violation must be strongly and thoroughly recorded by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine,” she wrote.
