HIROSHIMA (QHA) -

The Foreign Ministers of the G7 countries discussed in Hiroshima the current situation in Ukraine and called on Russia to make every effort to resolve the conflict, according to DW.

Thus, the high-ranking officials urged the Russian Federation to fulfill Minsk agreements and influence the militants. They also noted that the G7 is considering the annexation of Crimea as a violation of international law.

“We expect that Russia will comply with its obligations,” reads the statement.

The diplomats stressed that all the interested parties must implement the Minsk agreements and noted they are ready for a dialogue with Moscow.

The Conference of Foreign Ministers from United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Canada, USA, France and Japan is being held in Hiroshima on April 10 - 11.
