Today, the FSB has called in for questioning a son of the Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Ilmi Umerov, the CEC Head of Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar People, Zair Smedlyaev told the QHA.
- Ilmi Umerov’s son is to show up for questioning at 3. 00 p.m., he said.
As QHA reported earlier, the Russian Federal Security Service in occupied Crimea issued Ilmi Umerov a nondisclosure requirement concerning the investigation materials.
Recall, May 19, the occupation authorities accused Umerov of separatist statements during his speech at the ATR TV Channel when the Mejlis Deputy Chairman said "it is necessary to force Russia to pull back from Crimea and Donbas."
The occupants also mention Umerov’s words about changes to the Ukraine’s Constitution when he said that the Crimean Tatar people should be granted a separate status, while Crimea should be transferred to the status of national autonomy within Ukraine.
