During his working visit to the US to attend the nuclear summit, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will hold a series of bilateral meetings.
According to presidential secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko, Poroshenko plans to hold talks with US Vice President Joe Biden, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, Ukrinform reports.
Moreover, the meetings are to be held with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Argentina's President Mauricio Macri. However, according to Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko, the meeting of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko with US President Barack Obama is not planned so far.
“As of today, such a meeting has not yet been scheduled,” said the representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
Pristayko also added that the Ukrainian side wants to hold such a meeting because it would show the US support for our country.
It was reported earlier that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko would pay a working visit to the United States.
