Simferopol (QHA) - The first meeting of the new Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, which was elected at the first session of VI Kurultay of the Crimean Tatars, will be held on October 31, according to information from official web site of Mejlis on Monday, citing the head of Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, informs Interfax-Ukraine. The meeting participants will discuss issues related to the formation of structures, divisions, departments and services of Mejlis. Chubarov said that on November 1, the Khan Jami mosque in Bakhchysaray, after Friday prayers, would host a ceremony for the new Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people to assume office. The event will bring together members of Mejlis elected by Kurultay delegates of the previous sessions, as well as Kurultay delegates of VI convocation. On October 26-28, Simferopol hosted the first session of VI Kurultay of Crimean Tatar people, at which the delegates elected Chubarov as the new chairman of Mejlis.
