The final declaration of the Platform of Crimean Tatar Organizations in Turkey:
The 3rd meeting of the Platform of Crimean Tatar Organizations in Turkey was held in Ankara on February 6-7, at the Ickale Hotel.
All members of the Platform once again emphatically declare that they would support the established before the occupation the Kurultai and Mejlis of Crimean Tatars, help them in struggle for de-occupation of Crimea, help our people in the struggle for life in prosperity, as well as protect and promote the integrity and essence of our nation and the rights of Crimean Tatars.
Therefore, we state:
The projects agreed and launched by our national organizations will be strongly supported, following the principles and decisions of the Kurultay, Mejlis and the World Congress of Crimean Tatars.
New Crimean Tatar schools, kindergartens, mosques and cultural centers will be opened to preserve and develop the Crimean Tatar nation, its language and culture.
Religious and cultural centers for the development of the Crimean Tatar language and culture will be created in the areas of Crimean Tatars residence in Ukraine (Chonhar, Genichesk district).
On February 26 – the date of the occupation of Crimea - the rallies condemning the occupation will be held outside the Russian Embassy in Ankara, and other cities.
This year's mourning rally dedicated to May 18 - Day of Remembrance of the Deportation of Crimean Tatars – is due to be held with the participation of all associations at Tandoğan Square in Ankara on May 15.
The Platform of Crimean Tatar organizations will never recognize the illegal occupation of Crimea and will fight for its earliest date of liberation.
