A journalist, TV host and public figure from Russia Ksenia Sobchak who recently announced her intention to participate in presidential elections in 2018, is not supporting the RF statement "Crimea is ours", but also not opposing it, according to her open letter.
“I do not belong to specific parties, I am not bound by some party or group discipline, within the framework of this campaign I'm not even for "Our Crimea" and not against it. I am for the elimination of total larceny in the country, for the establishment of real politics, a government accountable to the free will of people who would decide how to live, and on an equal footing with the entire world community and neighbors will decide whom the Crimea really belongs to,” Sobchak stated.
It is worth noting that in 2015, a Russian journalist said that if she was a Russian President Vladimir Putin, perhaps, she would probably have “taken the Crimea from Ukraine as well, but in a civilized way."
Earlier, Sobchak announced her intention to take part in the presidential elections in Russia in 2018.
