Europarliament to debate Crimean Tatar situation in Crimea

The Crimean issue will be debated at a plenary session of the Europarliament on February 4.

A plenary session of the Europarliament, due to be held in Strasbourg from February 1 to February 4, will look into the human rights situation in Crimea, reports the press service of the Europarliament.

Human rights situation in Crimea, in particular of the Crimean Tatars, will be debated on February 4. Following the debate, European MPs are planning to adopt a relevant resolution.

Two tabled motions for resolutions – the first one on steps necessary to protect religious minorities from ISIS and acknowledgment of attacks perpetrated against them as genocide, and the second one on measures against humanitarian and political crisis in Yemen - are also to be put to vote on February 4.
