Today the resolution comes into force to extend sanctions against people and structures, which, according to the EU, are involved in actions against Ukraine’s integrity and sovereignty.

The decision to extend sanctions until March 15, 2016 has been rendered by the EU Council. The sanctions list 149 individuals and 37 entities from Russia and Ukraine, reports the EU Official Journal.

Under resolution, the sanctions include the bank assets freezing in the EU and a visa ban. The nature of the sanctions remains the same. Brussels does not plan to cut any part of sanctioned individuals or organizations.
