Erdogan: Russia killed 400,000 people in Syria

Turkish President has accused Russia of invading Syria.

Speaking at a news conference in Senegal, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan accused Russia and Bashar al-Assad of killing 400,000 Syrians, reports Deutsche Welle.

“Russia must be held accountable for the people it has killed within Syria's borders. By cooperating with the regime, the number of people they have killed has reached 400, 000,” said Erdogan.

Turkish president also accused Russia of invading Syria to set up a 'boutique state' for its ally Bashar Assad.
