PARIS (QHA) -

Following the climate summit in Paris Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that all Turkey’s oil and gas trade is absolutely legal, reported the Radio Svoboda. Erdogan also added that if Vladimir Putin’s allegations are proven, he will immediately resign to save the honor of the Turkish state.

At the same time the Turkey’s President asked: if Russia’s allegations are not confirmed will Putin be able to do the same?

After the incident with the Russian fighter jet downed in the Syrian province of Latakia, Putin said Turkey is a terrorists’ accomplice and claimed the Turkish government brought down the plane to hide the illegal routes by which they smuggled oil from the Islamic State territory into Turkey.
