Mejlis Member Enver Arpatly was appointed deputy mayor of Alushta. The decision was made by Alushta City Council June 10.
Newly appointed deputy mayor will oversee the sphere of public utility and interethnic relations
In his comments to QHA Arpatly noted priority issues that are to be settled.
“At first we should examine the functioning of utilities and the problems that exist. We should also examine republican and federal programs that may be used to settle the issues. The public utility sphere is far from perfect, there are a lot of issues to be solved. Priority task is to provide people with energy, water and so on”- he said.
As regards interethnic relations, Arpatly noted he would focus attention on places of compact residence of deportees, adding he will implement the decree ‘on measures to rehabilitate Armenians, Bulgarians, Greeks, Crimean Tatars and Germans’ signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
