In New York, the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations held a round table on the topic "The second anniversary of the adoption of the UN General Assembly resolution on" The territorial integrity of Ukraine," Presidential Commissioner on Crimean Tatar People’s Affairs wrote on Facebook.
The meeting was attended by close to 100 participants from different UN member countries, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian Diaspora, political circles and the media.
- The leader of the Crimean Tatar People, Presidential Commissioner on the Crimean Tatar People’s Affairs, MP Mustafa Dzhemilev called on the international community to continue adhering to the resolution provisions, as well as to join efforts aimed at the de-occupation of Crimea, reads the report.
Today, March, 18, Mustafa Dzhemilev will speak at the UN Security Council in New York. He will tell about the violation of the Crimean Tatars’ rights in Crimea, in particular, about an attempt by Russia-controlled Crimea authorities to ban the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.
