Mustafa Dzhemilev, Presidential Commissioner on Crimean Tatar People’s Affairs, held an official meeting with the European Union delegation to the UN, reported Mustafa Dzhemilev’s press service on Facebook.

The meeting took place on the eve of a UN Security Council session dedicated to the second anniversary of the Russia’s occupation of Crimea.

"The leader of the Crimean Tatar People, Presidential Commissioner on Crimean Tatar People’s Affairs, Mustafa Dzhemilev met with the EU delegation representing him in the United Nations," reads a statement.

The meeting was attended by Aslan Omer Kyrymly, Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis, and Aylya Bakkaly, a spokeswoman of the Mejlis in the US.
