A local resident found the documents, in particular a passport, driving license and a work book of a kidnapped Crimean Tatar Erwin Ibragimov in the city of Bakhchisarai. The finder immediately took the documents to the police station.
A 30-year-old Erwin Ibragimov, a member of the Crimean Tatars World Congress and Bakhchisaray Regional Mejlis, was kidnapped on May, 24 at about 11.00 p.m. in the city of Bakhchisarai.
Later a video was put on the Internet captured by a surveillance camera of one of the stores owned by a Crimean Tatar businessman in Bakhchisarai. The video record shows how a few unidentified persons, presumably in the uniform of the Russian traffic police, were forcibly putting Erwin Ibragimov in a minibus.
As QHA reported earlier, Erwin Ibragimov’s relatives are ready to pay a large sum for his return home, in particular a reward of one million Russian rubles, reported Argumenty Nedeli - Crimea.
