NEW YORK (QHA) -

Croatia will share experience with Ukraine in reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko discussed the issue with the Head of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic in the framework of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, according to the Presidential Administration website.

“Croatia has the experience of post-war rehabilitation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories, which can be useful for Ukraine,” said Grabar-Kitarovic.

Poroshenko hopes that the new government to be formed following the early parliamentary elections in Croatia, will continue the course of the official Zagreb in supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.

The two politicians discussed some issues on regional cooperation as well and agreed to intensify economic collaboration. Poroshenko expressed interest in joining the Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea initiative.

Petro Poroshenko is now on a working visit to the US, where he participated in the High Level Segment of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.
