More than 200 people gathered in Dobroye village of Simferopol district to celebrate the Muslim holiday Kurban Bayram. People gathered on the land plot of 0,2 hectares, which for many years have been disputed between local authorities and committee of Muslims of Crimea. The committee requested this land for the construction of the mosque and earlier Dobroye village council has allocated this land for the construction. But later, it has redefined the land to be used as a market. At present, trade stalls and necessary building materials have been delivered to the plot for the market to be opened soon. The situation became the reason for conflict between local Muslims and head of Dobroye village council Igor Budanov. Budanov showed residents the documents for the construction of the market. A big number of law enforcement officers have arrived to the scene to observe the order. A fire truck was also on the spot. Earlier, the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablayev appealed to the Crimean Prime Minister Anatoliy Mogilev for help in resolving the conflict situation and allocating land for construction of the mosque in Dobroye village.
