Simferopol (QHA) - Head of Crimean Council of Ministers Anatoliy Mogilev proposed to establish the Crimean Research Institute of Crimean Tatar language, literature and history, informs press service of the Council of Ministers. Anatoliy Mogilev voiced this initiative at the official meeting of members of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, Crimean Council of Ministers and Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people with the EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule on September 19. “In order to preserve and develop the Crimean Tatar language I find it necessary to create such research institute”, said Mogilev in his speech. The Institute will be established pursuant to the Law of Ukraine "On the Principles of State Language Policy" from 03.07.2012 № 5029-VI and decree of the Verkhovnaya Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea "On urgent measures for the implementation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea the Law of Ukraine" On the Principles of State Language Policy "from 15.08.2012 № 906-6/12. As reported, a round table on interethnic relations is being held in Simferopol today with participation of EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara. The round table is taking place behind closed doors. Media representatives have been asked to leave the room.
