Crimea self-defense forces have made a list of Mejlis representatives, that should be liquidated, Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Jemilev said this in interview to Krim.realii.
According to Jemilev, such lists have already been made in Crimea’s Bakhchisaray and Sudak regions.
Jemilev also noted, that, in response to these actions, Crimean Tatars may make their lists of self-defense officers, emphasizing that Crimean Tatars, as they always do, will stick to principle of non-violence, that is traditional to Crimean Tatar national movement.
As we earlier reported, Crimean Parliament adopted a decree on creation people’s militia of Crimean Republic.
According to the document, militia, based on self-defense forces of Crimea, will help the police to keep the public order, assure safety during natural disasters and liquidate the consequences of emergencies. The militia will be financed by Crimean state budget.
Crimea conducted local referendum on peninsula status, seceded from Ukraine and was annexed by Russia in March. The annexation, however is not recognized neither by Kyiv, nor by the West.
