SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Presidium of Crimean Parliament appealed to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to bring order to Ukraine and prevent the seizure of power by extremists, says the statement of the Crimean Parliamentarians. “We believe that the situation calls for tough action against the promoters and direct participants of mass disorders, including those who are hiding behind parliamentary immunity,” the document says. According to the authors, the laws adopted by Ukrainian Parliament of January 16 should be entered into force as soon as possible. “The Presidium of Crimean Parliament encourages you, dear Viktor Fedorovich (Yanukovych-ed.) not to succumb to blackmail by the opposition and its foreign patrons who seek change of power in Ukraine by escalating violence and threatening sanctions. Constitutional order in Ukraine is not subject of political bargaining,”- noted the authors of statement.
