According to the website of the Ukraine’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, the First Deputy Foreign Minister Natalia Galibarenko received copies of credentials from newly appointed French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont.

During the meeting the parties discussed the situation in the east of Ukraine, and also emphasized Russia is to fulfill the Minsk Agreements.

Galibarenko stressed the role France is playing in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In turn, Dumont confirmed France would keep on playing a key role in the Norman format and assured Crimean issue to remain on the agenda for French policy.
