February 11, 2016 Vadim Siruk, Enver Bekirov, Muslim Aliev and Emir-Usein Kuku were arrested and then unfoundedly and illegally charged with terrorist activities.

February, 11 a wave of searches swept through the Crimean Tatars’ houses seeking to discredit them as "terrorists". The Security Forces often acted aggressively – broke windows and forcibly took away people.

During the interrogation, the detainees were asked whether they or their friends are terrorists, whether they are involved in any extremist organization and whether they are going to Syria.

Eight of the twelve detainees have already been released, while Emir Usein-Kuku, Vadim Siruk, Enver Bekirov and Muslim Aliyev are still being held in custody.

February, 12 the Kiev District Court in Simferopol ruled to keep the accused in detention for two months - until April, 8.

All the detainees - Enver Bekirov, Emir Usein-Kuku, Vadim Siruk and Muslim Aliev are socially active citizens. In particular, prior to the arrest Emir Usein Kuku was engaged in human rights activities, recorded the human rights violations in Crimea.

The occupation authorities of the Sevastopol Court accused Ferat Sayfullaev and Rustem Vaitov of involvement in Hizb ut-Tahrir, recognized as a terrorist organization in Russia, and extended the detention period for 2 months, until May, 23.
