Crimean authorities in Simferopol held a business meeting with a delegation from the Czech Republic, headed by Sergei Komkov, Chieftain of the Troiyskoe Cossack Village of the Czech Republic.
According to the Crimean government’s website, in follow-up of the meeting Crimea’s Chieftain Vladimir Mironov and Sergei Komkov, Head of the Czech delegation, have inked an agreement on cooperation.
During the event, the participants of the meeting discussed the "all-embracing cooperation" between Crimea and the Czech Republic.
"We have great prospects for cooperation with the Czech Republic, first of all, in the transport and economic spheres. We want to project a positive experience of the Czech Republic on Crimea, and at the same time, we are ready to share ours," said Mikhail Sheremet, the first Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea.
In particular, during the meeting the parties discussed the possibility to reconstruct the trams and trolley buses, which are in the Czech Republic’s operation, as well as building of the appropriate repair shop in Crimea.
