SIMFEROPOL (QHA) -

About 300 Pro-Russian activists gathered at Crimean Parliament in Simferopol, protesting against newly elected government in Kyiv, declaring it illegitimate.

Activists required all-Crimean poll on status of Crimea, suggesting following answers: Crimea as a part of Ukraine, Crimea as a part of Russian federation and Crimea as an independent state.

Crimean Parliament announced it will convene an extraordinary session on Wednesday.

"We need to hold an extraordinary plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea, to consider the socio-political situation and hear a report of the Crimean government," head of the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea Volodymyr Konstantinov has said.
