Crimea to allocate 150 mln rubles for Parliament elections

Crimea to allocate 150 mln rubles from Crimean budget for Parliament elections, scheduled for September 14.

Following decision was made at the session of Crimean Parliament July 9 in Simferopol.

According to speaker of Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, allocated money will be needed for salaries to members of the electoral commission, legal political agitation and other related costs.

The Parliament elections are scheduled for September 14.These will be the first elections since Crimean unification with Russia.

According to chairman of Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, the elections will be conducted according to a mixed system. Fifty deputies will be elected on party lists and 25 in majority constituencies

Meanwhile Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people made a decision to boycott the elections.
