(QHA) - The representatives of the European Parliament Monitoring Mission, Aleksander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox, were invited to a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement to be held on Wednesday, November 20. Committee chairman, Batkivshchyna faction member Andriy Kozhemiakin briefed the press on Monday, according to Ukrinform. "I personally invited Mr. Kwasniewski and Mr. Cox to this Committee. I know that tomorrow they will be present in the Verkhovna Rada, so I hope something will take place," Kozhemiakin noted. “My initiative is that the working group should submit the bill to the Committee tomorrow to include it into the agenda. If this is not done, the opposition does not see the advisability of considering other laws on the treatment of prisoners abroad," Kozhemiakin said. As reported, the EU states that the Ukrainian side has not yet fulfilled all the criteria required for association, including the resolution of the case of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. On Wednesday, November 14, the European Parliament extended the Cox-Kwasniewski mission in Ukraine until the end of November, when the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius is to be held
