Turkish prosecutor to investigate the issue of entering of controversial liner ‘Adriana’ Istanbul’s Zeytinburnu Port.

Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Jemilev announced this at joint briefing of Jemilev with Ukrainian Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko and member of the Justice Ministry's Expert Council Arkadiy Buschenko July 16 in Kyiv.

“As for ‘Adriana’ cruise liner, Turkey’s Prosecutor to investigate it”- Jemilev said, noting that he is personally investigating the issue, as the liner “violated Turkish legislation”.

Earlier, ESEN ELITA TUR Company announced it offers Sevastopol-Istanbul voyages on the board of ‘Adriana’ liner that belongs to Saint Kitts & Nevis, country on the east coast of Caribbean.

Following Crimean annexation, Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ordered Turkey’s Transport Ministry not to allow Crimean ships without a sign “Ukraine” to Turkish ports. Still, the fact that ‘Adriana’ belongs to Saint Kitts & Nevis’s reportedly allows the liner to operate Sevastopol-Istanbul voyages.
