A meeting of the tripartite contact group in Minsk will take place Wednesday, December 24.
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin told reporters Tuesday, Ukrinform's correspondent reports.
“We are planning such a meeting tomorrow. Negotiations still continue. We know that one meeting will be enough. We do not need talks, we need a real progress. And the matter does not concern the date, but reaching this result,” Klimkin stressed.
Representatives of Kiev authorities, south-eastern Ukrainian regions, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and Russia have agreed on a peaceful settlement plan and a ceasefire at a meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on September 5. The Contact Group has adopted a memorandum on ceasefire fulfilment in Minsk on September 20.
