President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko approached his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko requesting to promote holding of a meeting of the tripartite contact group on settlement of the situation in Donbas in Minsk July 31.

Alexander Lukashenko gave his consent for organization of this meeting in Minsk, official website of the Belarusian President informs.

Second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov and the OSCE representative will participate in the meeting, the Presidential Administration informs on its Facebook page.

Two issues are proposed to be discussed by the contact group - the release of all hostages captured by the militants, and ensuring the access for international experts to the Malaysian Airlines plane crash site.
