Kyiv (QHA) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his family have nothing to do with the construction on Cape Aya in Crimea, reads a response of the Main Department of Press Service and Communication of the Presidential Administration to a Ukrinform's information inquiry.
"The article that you have mentioned - “King's affairs - a new Mezhyhiria for Yanukovych in Crimea”, published on July 25, 2013 by the Ukrainska Pravda online edition, contains false facts. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his family have nothing to do with the mentioned construction, land plot and companies that own this site," reads the response to the request.
The paper argues that the said property also does not belong to the competence of the State Affairs Department.
Earlier, the Ukrainska Pravda reported that Yanukovych and his family build an estate on Cape Aya nearby Sevastopol, despite the available state residences in Crimea.
