The Supreme Administrative Court upheld a ban on the activities of the Communist Party in Ukraine, press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.

According to the reports, the lawyers of the Communist Party challenged the legal opinion of the Commission for the Compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On the condemnation of the Communist and National Socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and prohibition of the promotion of their symbols."

It was found that the "cassation petition is groundless, and the set out arguments do not necessitate the check of the case materials, since the applicant does not adduce grounds that would allow to assume that the court incorrectly applied the rules of substantive or procedural law."

This judgment of the Supreme Administrative Court cannot be appealed.
