Yalta (QHA) - 42nd President of the United States (1993-2001) Bill Clinton and British Prime Minister (1997-2007) Tony Blair will speak at the 10th annual meeting in Yalta “Ukraine and the World in the age of changes: success factors”, informs press service of the Crimean Council of Ministers. About 250 prominent politicians, businesspeople, representatives of public organizations from 20 countries will participate. Among the participants are the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle, OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble, President of Poland (1995–2005) and head of “YES” board Alexander Kwasniewski, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (1998-2005) Gerhard Schroeder and many others. The opening ceremony will be attended by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite. Note: 10th Annual Yalta meeting will be held on September 19-22 at Livadia Palace (Yalta). The Yalta Annual Meeting is organized by the Yalta European Strategy (YES) in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. The main topic of the 10th meeting will be success factors that form the basis of competitive, self-sufficient legal states and societies. Discussion topics will include global economy, energy security, leadership and innovations. Special attention will be paid to Ukraine’s perspectives as for integration and cooperation with the EU.
