Chubarov: Security forces will not storm Crimean civilian blockade

Law enforcement agencies will not attack and use force against the participants of the Crimean blockade.

In the course of today's meeting the President Poroshenko promised two MPs, the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people, the security forces will not attack the activists of the Crimean blockade, reported the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov after meeting with the President.

Chubarov denied the news report that today at 11.00 the security forces are to storm the activists on duty near the felled transmission line outside the village of Chaplinka.

- I do not think it will happen, Chubarov told the QHA (Crimean News Agency) correspondent.

Reminder: today, the security forces set on the attack against the participants of the Crimean peaceful blockade.

In the evening, a spontaneous rally to support the Crimean blockade was held in Kyiv. As a result, Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov met the President Poroshenko and agreed in the coming days to reach the preliminary agreements on the electricity supplies, as well as the trade cessation with the Russia-occupied peninsula.
