KYIV (QHA) -

The Head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, People's Deputy of Ukraine Refat Chubarov reported on his Facebook page that the turnout for the illegal presidential election on March 18 in the occupied Crimea was 42%.

People's Deputy published a message in two languages: Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian.

According to him, representatives of the administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin were monitoring the "voting" in the Crimea.

“The so-called white protocol with real data on voting results contains turnout figures at the level of 42%, of which 8% are invalid or spoiled ballots. That is, 8% of people who were afraid not to come to the polls, but they spoiled the ballots. Thus, it turns out that only 34% are those who ideologically were aimed at elections,” Chubarov emphasized.

The Head of the Mejlis noted that the leader of the cooperation government of the peninsula Sergei Aksyonov tried to bribe the emissaries from Moscow, so that they "drew" the desired turnout, adding at least 10-15%.

Previously, even before the illegal presidential election in Russia on the annexed peninsula, Chubarov said that the Russian occupation authorities in the Crimea in various ways will try to increase the turnout in the presidential elections, including from the Crimean Tatars.
