ANKARA (QHA) -
Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, the Head of WCCT, Ukrainian MP Refat Chubarov in the framework of his one-day visit to the capital of Turkey, Ankara, met with representatives of the Crimean Tatar diaspora and political circles of the Republic.
 
Refat Chubarov had a talk on the situation in Crimea and Ukraine with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ahmet Yildiz, and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Political Affairs Şefik Vural Altay.
 
 
The meeting was also attended by a member of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Mukremin Shahin, WCCT Secretary Namık Kemal Bayar, and the Head of the WCCT Audit Commission  Enver Aydogan.
 
Among the main topics discussed, the issue of Turkey's support of territorial integrity of Ukraine, was raised once again, as well as the impact of the UN resolution on human rights violations in the Crimea on the situation. In particular, Ahmet Yildiz stressed that a compromise in recognizing the occupation of Crimea is not possible and that this principle Turkey's position is demonstrated in political and diplomatic relations in the international arena.
 
Another important topic of conversation between the Head of the Mejlis with representatives of the Crimean Tatar Diaspora and Turkish politicians was the help and support of the Crimean Tatar people in Ukraine.
