Head of State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov noted the mourning events on May 18 should be held in another, new format.
“We should break with tradition, as it is historical event (signing of Crimean Tatar rehabilitation decree by Vladimir Putin April 21,-ed.). So the event (May 18,-ed.) should be held in absolutely another atmosphere and another format”- he said.
Commenting this statement head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov said Crimean Tatars themselves should determine the format of mourning events on May 18.
“As far as I know Mr. Konstantinov, has “another format” every day: another format in business, another format in politics. In my opinion, Crimean Tatars themselves, not Konstantinov, should determine the format of mourning events on May 18”- he said.
Mr. Chubarov also noted, that the mourning rally to be arranged by the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people..
“There will be events organized by the Mejlis and the events organized by Crimean authorities. Still, the May 18 rally to be arranged by Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people”- Chubarov pointed out.
