Newly elected head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov met with the head of Crimean Council of Ministers Anatoly Mogilev, informs press service of Mejlis.
During the meeting, Mogilev and Chubarov discussed a number of issues that need cooperation and joint efforts.
One of such issues was the draft State budget of Ukraine for 2014. Head of Mejlis suggested to support the proposal of the Ukrainian Social Policy Ministry to allocate the amount of 197 million UAH for the needs of the formerly deported Crimean Tatars and other nationalities.
As reported, the same proposal to the Ukrainian Prime Minister was earlier made by people’s deputy of Ukraine and former head of Mejlis Mustafa Jemilev.
Chubarov and Mogilev also discussed the prospects of the International Forum on restoration of rights of Crimean Tatar people. Head of Council of Ministers shared his vision of using international assistance for the development of Crimea and its residents.
Other issues have been discussed as well.
The parties agreed to continue dialogue.
