AQMESCİT/SIMFEROPOL (QHA) - Chairman of the Majlis of Crimean Tatar nation MP Mustafa Cemil has asked the deputies of the European Parliament for help. The purpose is to demonstrate readiness of the international organizations to assist to organize the International Forum on Crimean Tatar problem for the Ukrainian government, the press service of the Majlis informs.
In the letter, Mr. Cemil requests the European Parliament for help in arrangement of the International Forum on restoration of the rights of the Crimean Tatar nation in own Motherland, their security and guarantees of development in Ukraine.
Mustafa Cemil has reminded the European Parliament that the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Mr Knut Vollebaek's proposal to Ukraine to support in conducting the
International Forum on the restoration of the Crimean Tatars' rights is unanswered one until now.
Giving credit for high prestige and broad experience of the European Parliament, the Chairman of the Majlis also pointed out that it will be useful if the Parliament gives an advice in Forum’s preparation.
